Ruby Jewel has been selected for its small compact habit and lush glossy green foliage. Beautiful ruby red flowers form in autumn through to spring. Ruby Jewel has a variety of uses from hedging to garden border or as a rockery planting. It can be pruned to a desired height to create low to medium hedges. It is a great choice for dense low screening in gardens or as a specimen tub plant on the patio. Other varieties such as Grevillea Due Flame, Grevillea Lady 'O', Grevillea Cherry Cluster, and Grevillea Red Robin, can be mixed planted to create variation in the landscape. |

| Soil PH Conditions | Soil pH: 6.4 to 7.5 - Soil preparation: Soil can range from quite acid to alkaline in pH levels, it is important to have good soil preparation to gain the best results when planting natives. This improves the water-holding capacity of the soil and for young plants, once established, will have lower water requirements. |
| Water Recommendations | Grows well in both shade and full sun. It is adaptable to most well drained soils and is a versatile plant. Once this plant is established it will tolerate dry and light frost conditions, but over long periods of dry will require watering. |
